New here?
We are a church in the heart of Metro Vancouver longing to see our city renewed as we follow Jesus Christ.
We’ve been gathering in the neighbourhood since the early 1950s. We aim to help lead people become fully devoted followers of Jesus and His Way. (Learn more)
We recognize everyone is in a different place so we’ve sought to offer a few different steps you can stake as you explore faith, spirituality and Jesus at Cascades.
Five Ways to Get Connected
One
Stick around for a few weeks
We understand any good relationship takes time to develop. A one time visit doesn’t really do justice to what people are like. So here’s our suggestion:
Join us for six Sundays before you decide if you want to be part of our community.
We gather in-person at 10AM. Our address is 3833 Boundary Road, Vancouver, BC.
We livestream our Online Gathering at 10AM on Sundays via YouTube.
Two
Join us for a Community Lunch
Once a month (usually 3rd Sunday) we host a community lunch in the gym. Sometimes it’s a potluck and sometimes a few people volunteer to serve everyone–either way you’re welcome to enjoy free food and meet some people.
The lunch follows our Gathering and usually starts at 11:30AM.
Three
Try Alpha
Come and join us for a series of conversations about faith, spirituality, and life from a Christian lens. Alpha is all about bringing together people looking to explore Christianity in a safe and welcoming place. Each session includes dinner, a short film and a discussion where you can share what you think with a small group of people just like you.
Four
Grow with us
We want to help people grow as apprentices of Jesus. One of the ways we do that is through courses. Following Jesus Today walks through five foundational teachings of Jesus and how we go about following Him in order to experience the abundant life he promises.
The Way of Jesus is in-person once a year and equips you to live out the mission and vision of the church; embracing the Way of Jesus for the renewal of our city.
Five
Visit a Community Group
Community Groups are key to making sure everyone in our community is cared for and learning to follow Jesus and embrace His Way.
