You’re invited to Alpha  

Through a series of relaxed evenings of dinner and conversation Alpha offers people of all backgrounds a chance get together to explore the big questions of life, Jesus, and faith. No pressure. No judgement. No charge. Just real conversations.

Alpha is meant to be a space for people who wouldn’t typically go to church, so whether you are from another faith or have no faith at all, curious or skeptical Alpha is for you.

What happens at Alpha ? 

 

Meet Up

We spend time getting to know each other through some fun and light-hearted ice-breakers. Over time this looks like joining a group of new friends spending time catching up while sharing a great meal. 

Watch   

Watch an engaging 25-30 minute video that explores one of the big issues surrounding faith. These topics address questions like, Is there more to life than this? Who is Jesus? How and why should we pray?

Good conversation 

The best part of Alpha. A chance to hear from others and share your perspective. You can say anything you want or nothing at all.

Who is Alpha for? 

Alpha is designed primarily for people who aren’t churchgoers. It attracts a diverse range of guests, including people of different ages and backgrounds, all with differing viewpoints. Churchgoers are welcome to attend with any guests they invite. 

 

What if I try it and don’t want to come back?

The Alpha course aims to be a low-pressure and non-threatening experience. If you don’t feel that the course is for you, you don’t have to return and we will not contact you unless you’ve indicated to your group host otherwise.

 

What happens if I miss a session?

If you’ve missed a session, your host can send you a link to the video to catch up.
