As Jesus concludes the Sermon on the Mount he calls people to decide which kind of life they want to live using three illustrations. In his third illustration Jesus highlights two ways to build your life–building on a shaky foundation or building on a solid foundation. On outside both look the same, but only the one who builds the their life on His words will remain standing after all the storms and floods of life come.
