In this message, Alex preaches from Acts 4:1-22. As a result of the Christ’s resurrection and the gift of the Holy Spirit Peter and John are transformed. This change is most clearly revealed in looking at how they responded to Jesus trial and their own trial before the religious leaders. During Jesus’s trial before the Sanhedrin John and Peter are filled with fear hiding and watching events unfold from a distance. In their own trial before these same religious leaders they stand filled with the Spirit boldly proclaiming they could not hide what they had seen and heard: Jesus died and rose again.
