In the Sermon on the Mount Jesus outlines the way of being human. Jesus forbids us from ‘carrying’ anger. His disciples aren’t to be angry people, because in our anger we often strip people of their worth through our words, attitudes, and actions. Instead, Jesus calls his people to zealously pursue reconciliation with those we’ve hurt.
