There’s an intimate connection between God’s forgiveness and the forgiveness we extend to others. When we refuse to forgive while asking God to forgive us we’re revealing to don’t understand the nature of God’s forgiveness or what it means to follow Jesus. When we do forgive others we confirm that God’s forgiveness is truly at work in us and offer people a window into the heart of God.
