Jesus warns of the judgment to come for those who in His presence aren’t making any decision to turn to him – to be changing their whole way of living. When we choose to remain unmoved by Jesus’s presence, words, and people, we inevitably find ourselves tired, weighed down, and exhausted. It doesn’t have to be this way. Jesus invites those who are weighed down and exhausted to come to Him and learn from Him. If we do, He promises we will discover real rest and enter into His reason for creating and redeeming us.
