Advent marks the beginning of a life that makes room for the work of God. During this season, we recall how Mary makes room for the Spirit of God to work. For many of us, we assume this is a one-time decision, yet we discover through the Gospels that Mary entrusts herself to the Lord throughout her life. The life of a Jesus-follower is a life-long process of making room for the Son of God.
