As Jesus concludes the Sermon on the Mount he calls people to choose which kind of life they want to live using three illustrations. In his second illustration Jesus draws on imagery of healthy trees bearing good fruit and diseased trees bearing bad fruit. He calls people to be careful who they choose to follow and highlights how to spot false Christian leaders from authentic leaders.
