We had a great turn out for the message on rest, now available on YouTube via https://youtu.be/lQvjBrF7QUA?feature=shared and on Spotify and Apple Podcasts and for our fall kickoff potluck luncheon! Thanks to everyone who brought a dish to share so we could have a good time of fellowship. Our next luncheon will be November 12.📷: @blizzylizzy

THIS WEEK @ CASCADES // We’re here to help people become fully devoted followers of Jesus and His Way. Join us this week for:🏡 Prayer Walk @ 12-1 pm | join us as we cover Renfrew Heights in prayer. Meet in the parking lot before noon.🗣️ Sunday Service | 10 am Sunday | Join us for worship and a study of Matthew 12:22-37. Sunday School is available.Ongoing & Upcoming🤝 Wednesday, Sep 27 from 6:30-8:30 pm | The Blanket Exercise | Join us as we aim to grow in our capacity to be good neighbours with Indigenous peoples. The Blanket Exercise is an interactive and visual approach that uses blankets to tell the story of Canada and the first settlers who came into contact with Indigenous peoples on the land. Developed by KAIROS for the Mennonite Central Committee, there will be a time of sharing to allow people to process their experiences and leave in a good way. This exercise works better when there are at least 20 people present, so everyone is welcome to come.🇲🇽 Ensenada, Mexico Mission | Oct. 6-15, 2023 | Joel H. will be working closely with Oasis Ranch, a boys’ home in Ensenada that houses troubled youth from all over Mexico. You can support Joel through prayer: https://cascadeschurch.ca/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/Joel-Ensenada-Mission-Prayers.pdf.
